For 2010, BCU Lifeguards will not be holding any National Conventions, we will however offer to run free training weekends for new and existing units where we provide trainers to train and assess the awards you need. AFA Level 1 Coach (Training & Assessment) Courses
Please see below details of the planned AFA L1 Coach Courses being held this year.
Sat 27th & Sunday 28th February, Suffolk.
Cost £300 + £25 registration fee.
Sat 15th & Sunday 16th May, Suffolk.
Cost £300 + £25 registration fee.
Sat 24th & Sunday 25th July, Suffolk.
Cost £300 + £25 registration fee.
Sat 16th & Sunday 17th October, Suffolk.
Cost £300 + £25 registration fee.
Before attending an AFA L1 Coach Course candidates must have pre-registered with the BCU Lifeguards. The Pre-registration form can be found here.
The training and assessment course provides candidates with a sound knowledge of running BCU Lifeguards First Aid courses and is also ideal for those that are returning since previous qualifications have lapsed.
